Your Second Visit to Our Nixa Practice

Dr. Shanks conducts a through exam.

After we study your health history and correlate our examination findings, we’ll make recommendations designed to help you get and keep your health. We call this the Report of Findings.

This is usually attended to on your second visit, which may be later the same day or the following day. This two-visit approach accomplishes several things:

  • Gives us time to correlate our findings
  • Prepare a complete report of our findings and recommendations
  • Avoids overloading you with too much information

In certain situations, and in the professional judgment of Dr. Shanks, we sometimes make exceptions. It just depends on your unique situation.

Dr. Michael Asks some important questions of interest to Nixa residents - Chiropractor Nixa Dr. Michael Asks...

Can those with osteoporosis get chiropractic care?
Of course. When developing a care plan, we consider the unique circumstances of each patient. There are many ways we can adjust the spine. The chiropractic method we select will be best suited to your age, size and unique situation.
Could a chiropractor put an end to bedwetting?
If bladder control seems elusive, consider chiropractic. If spinal bones are interfering with nerves that control your child's bladder, plastic sheets, alarms and other methods simply add to the embarrassment. Nixa parents are often amazed (and relieved) that chiropractic can be so helpful. Learn more.
